Business Intelligence enthusiast.
I've been around the world of BI for more than 15 years. Since I discovered databases in my degree, I knew I wanted to work there. At EADA, the first company I worked for, I already started doing a database migration project and in 2005 I was offered to design the company's datawarehouse. From here I have been chaining together projects, always in the BI sector, usually with Microsoft technologies, but also with other proprietary technologies such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Redshift or open source such as Pentaho or Jaspersoft.
I have always had in mind being able to work with free software tools and ideologically I have always been very close to the social and solidarity economy. Since 2021 I have been working at Coopdevs, where I am lucky enough to be able to bring the 2 worlds together.
I have a blog eljordifabi.tech, initially focused on SQL Server and mainly a project in BIML to automatically generate code to download data from multiple data sources into a staging area using SSIS. It's currently focused on open source Business Intelligence, and I write the things I learn and find useful.
I am currently coordinator of the Business Intelligence area at Coopdevs.
